ICRT has investigated, compared and ranked in a study the engagement of ten major international hotel groups with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Data were initially gathered through publically available sources, predominantly businesses’ own websites, on their CSR behaviour. Nicole Häusler has undertaken on behalf of ICRT a site audit in Thailand to further validate (or in fact query) the updated data set about each chain’s CSR activities. The findings of this study comprise the most comprehensive review of CSR activity in the international hospitality industry and will be of interest to academics and practitioners alike. |
